Most of these rules are common sense. So why have I posted them? Better safe than sorry.
ONE The content of your advertisement must be PG-13. The website does not have to fit this requirement; however, if this is the case, there must be a warning in the title/ad.
TWO The title of the thread must include the website's name. Don't put 'don't click this!' or whatever. If your website is half-decent, which I have no doubt it is, then you shouldn't need to resort to immature gimmicks to attract members.
THREE Your website must have an advertising board accessible to guests. We allow you to advertise here, and we expect the favour to be returned.
FOUR Your links must function fully. Do not waste our time by giving us fake links. Potential members won't be able to access your forum, and we won't be able to link back. It's a lose-lose scenario.
FIVE Post your ad in the right place. There are only two places where it is allowed - the Pending Advertisements board, and the Approved Advertisements board, where it will be moved only after you post it in the Pending board.
SIX You can only make the one thread for your website. However, you may bump your ad every fortnight.
SEVEN If you wish to advertise for ASWS, great! Just make sure to pm me (Astrid ) beforehand so I know I don't need to link back on those sites when they post an advertisement.
